About North American Hardcore Movement

So what exactly is the point of North American Hardcore Movement? To sum it all up in one word: exposure.

We aim to expose as many people to hardcore in North American to help the scene grow. We aim to expose the vast amount of talent available in North America to not only our spread out scene but to the world. Lastly, we aim to expose North America to the biggest and best DJs from around the world that they might not get to hear otherwise. We also hope to inspire DJs, producers, and promoters old and new with an outlet and new medium to promote their work and other material. North American Hardcore Movement is trying to be a unified front to serve a scene that we all love across the USA, Canada, and the rest of the world.

North American Hardcore Movement (NAHM) started as an idea in the summer of 2004 presented to HappyHardcore.com Radio by Milo and Comet. Sean Apollo and Virus soon became involved and after a pilot show, the first official NAHM show was aired on December 1st, 2004. Comet left shortly after to entertain different pursuits, but Milo, Virus, and Sean Apollo, continued on, bringing in DJs from across N.A. as well as some special guests from around the world every week. The show has also picked up regular shows from the Pitched Up Crew (AC Slater & Brak - the second Wednesday of each month) as well as Canada's Blizzard Boys (Phosphor & JustRich - the third Wednesday of each month). NAHM started as, and continued to be a four hour live show every Wednesday night streamed on Digitally Imported & HappyHardcore.com Radio until December 2006.

Following a five month hiatus, NAHM is back on the air as of May 2007 in a new, 'day long' format featuring regular sets from some of North America's finest as well as guest sets from up-and-coming DJs.  Prerecorded and aired the first Friday of every month, NAHM's new style is offering more of your favorites across times listeners around the world and tune in to.  After the initial airing, NAHM is streamed throughout the month at different unannounced times as per the regular radio rotation.

With no end in sight, NAHM is set to rock the radio waves for a long time to come!
